Understanding Google

A website should do more than just exist.

We establish the technical foundations, check your local presence and explain the available search signals. Here is what we set up, what we check each month and what the numbers actually mean.

Google provides both services free of charge. Our service is the agreed setup, checks and support — not a fee paid to Google.

Included in Start, Business and Flow

Google Search Console

How does your website appear in Google Search? Search Console provides available data on search queries, impressions, clicks and indexing. It is not a business directory or a replacement for full website analytics.

What we set up and check

  • Identify the correct property for your domain, prefer an existing property and confirm authorised access.
  • Check HTTPS, canonical URLs, robots and noindex. Submit the sitemap and read back its receipt in Search Console.
  • Inspect the homepage and agreed key service pages for their reported indexing status.
  • Include available signals in the monthly Care review. A private preview remains excluded from indexing.

Why it matters: Technical obstacles and unusual changes become visible. Actual search queries can suggest clearer titles or more relevant content; extra content work is not automatically included.

Initial check in every package

Google Business Profile

Your business profile in Google Search and Maps — with services, opening hours, contact details, photos and genuine reviews. Suitable for businesses that meet customers in person, at their premises or at the customer’s location.

What is included

For one business and one agreed location, we check eligibility, an existing profile and apparent duplicates. The result is eligible, ineligible or more information needed. Translating a website for another country does not justify an extra location.

Setup: a separate service after review

Once approved, the agreed add-on covers one eligible profile location: category, services, description, website and contact, opening hours, address or service area and approved photos. We check the saved details and provide guidance for requesting authentic reviews.

Not included: recurring posts or review replies, multiple locations, photography, complex ownership disputes or suspension cases. These need their own scope. No purchased reviews, invented addresses or requests limited to happy customers.

Why it matters: Accurate details help nearby customers understand your services, opening hours and contact options. Local results depend on relevance, distance and prominence, among other factors — not just our work.

Care: check, explain, act

What we review each month — and what it tells you.

The agreed Care review includes available Search Console signals once the required access is confirmed. It is not an ongoing SEO campaign or continuous GBP management. Without access, this part remains pending.

Technical health
Website availability, sitemap status and reported indexing of key URLs. A technical fault leads to a specific next action.
Impressions and clicks
How often your website appears in search results and how often someone clicks. Where data is available, we compare it with the previous comparable period.
Queries, pages and CTR
Which reported queries and pages contribute, what share of impressions receives a click and how average position changes. Position is an average, not a fixed rank for every user; not every query is reported.
A short status with the next step
Period, data availability, the important finding, action taken or recommended and who is responsible. Technical faults, missing data and low demand are not treated as the same thing.

We review GBP performance only where separately agreed and access is available. Depending on the profile, website clicks, call-button clicks or direction requests may be available. A click is not an answered call or a completed booking.

More visibility does not automatically mean more revenue. A visit, a contact action, a received enquiry and a confirmed sale are different events. Search Console does not prove a sale; Flow is not full marketing attribution without a verified source connection either.

You stay the owner. We work with your permission.

You retain control of your domain and Google accounts and invite us through official access management. We do not request passwords by form or email. Search Console and Business Profile require separate permissions.

Google determines how a Business Profile is verified. As the owner, you may need to complete a video or phone verification yourself. Pending access, verification or review stays explicitly pending; publishing a website does not mean Google has approved everything.

Solid foundations, not ranking promises.

We do not guarantee indexing, specific rankings, AI recommendations, traffic or a number of enquiries. A submitted sitemap is not evidence of indexing. New websites may initially have little or no data; missing data is neither success nor automatically a fault.

Start, Business and Flow share the same technical quality standard. Packages differ in page scope and the agreed enquiry process — not in a better position on Google. Extra pages, recurring articles, campaigns and ongoing profile management need their own agreed scope.
