What does a small-business website cost?

Compare more than the first invoice: look at the build, ongoing care, monthly price and exit.

What matters

Decide from the real business need.

Choose a monthly rate for the initial build and care, or a separate setup fee with monthly care. Check the initial commitment, later monthly rate and cancellation terms.

Budget example

Your first year with twelve full months.

This budget comparison assumes twelve full months of care without extras. It creates no new commitment: the no-setup model still requires twelve payments; upfront setup allows care cancellation with 30 days’ notice.

Both models have the same total under this assumption; payment timing and cancellation conditions differ. Check the later monthly rate and any external-provider costs separately.

Good fit

Clear content and a clear next step.

For cafés, restaurants, salons, trades, accountants and other small businesses able to provide and approve information in writing.

Review individually

When functions exceed the package.

Multiple languages or locations, a native shop, complex booking or custom integration are outside the standard scope. The existing Flow process for structured enquiries is included.

FAQ

Answers before the next step.

What are website startup costs and what keeps recurring?

With no setup fee, the first 12 required monthly payments cover creation and care; the lower care rate applies afterwards. With an upfront setup fee, you pay for creation once and care monthly. Compare the same scope, not just the first invoice.

Is a cheap website necessarily the right fit?

Check page count, copy and design, publishing, hosting, backups, included changes and exit. Start is for one focused page and Business for up to five. Flow is not automatically needed: it adds a standard enquiry workflow. We do not claim to be the cheapest provider.

Which extra costs should I check before choosing?

An existing external booking link can be connected. External booking-provider setup is a separate EUR 290 one-off service: one provider, location and language, up to 15 services and three staff. Provider subscriptions, SMS, fiscalisation, large migrations and custom API work are excluded. Extra languages, locations and bespoke functions need separate review.

Can I pay now, and who approves publication?

Online payments are currently closed. The optional free check is not an order. Once checkout is enabled, work starts after online terms acceptance and confirmed payment. You confirm accurate business facts and approve the specific content and design version before publication.

What happens if I cancel, and who owns the domain?

The domain, your content, media and client data belong to you. With no setup fee the first 12 monthly payments are required, then care can be cancelled with 30 days’ notice. With an upfront setup fee, the notice period applies from the start. After obligations due are settled, you receive the current static export and your media; Flow can export active enquiries, stages and values as CSV. The hosted portal is not transferred.
